Turbine Inlet Cooling: Pulp and Paper Company Case Study
Hot humid conditions in the summer, combined with an increase in demand for its products left a major packaging manufacturer near Toronto with a turbine not meeting its plant needs. In fact, during the summer, and when prices are highest, the plant can sometimes sell a small amount of power back to the grid producing a profit for the plant.
